In a recent post on The Allegheny County Medical Society's ACMS Insights, Jewish Healthcare Foundation Senior Communications and Program Specialist Lisa George, MPH, CHES, provided an update on the introduction of Senate Bill 631, which would codify the Pennsylvania Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (POLST) for use by medical professionals across all healthcare settings to document treatment wishes for patients who voluntarily wish to execute a POLST order.
