Gregg Robbins-Welty, MD, MS, HEC-C is an internist, psychiatrist, ethicist, and palliative medicine fellow at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed combined training and chief residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry, as well as fellowship in clinical ethics at Duke University. Dr. Robbins-Welty obtained his medical doctorate and a master's degree in clinical research at the University of Pittsburgh. He has written extensively about mental health, ethics, and palliative medicine. He is an awardee of the prestigious Fenton Med/Psych resident-of-the-year award, a Laughlin Fellowship from the American College of Psychiatrists, and a Leadership Fellowship form the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Robbins-Welty serves as the chair of the early career special interest group of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is an alumnus of the Death and Dying Fellowship and strongly endorses it for all.
