Fellowship Alumni Spotlight: Jamie C. Johnson

Salk Health Activist Fellowship Alumna Jamie C. Johnson is the Director of Programs at New Sun Rising, overseeing capacity-building programs development, implementation, and strategic growth. She leads the Nonprofit Resilience Program, designed to support nonprofit leaders in developing an actionable self-care plan while building authentic relationships and supporting the nonprofit pipeline. With 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, she has worked with organizations providing programs focusing on family preservation and empowering underserved youth. She is currently a Doctoral student at St. Thomas University.
