Patient Safety Fellowship

Applications for the 2025 fellowship will open spring 2025.

The Patient Safety Fellowship prepares participants to apply innovative methods and strategies in safety science, team-based problem-solving, systems thinking, and quality improvement for healthcare settings. Fellows get the opportunity to take a fresh look at promising patient safety solutions from some of the best local and national thought leaders in health care and weigh their merits.

Each iteration of the Patient Safety Fellowship examines patient safety challenges from a unique perspective and presents the material in a fresh and interdisciplinary environment.

Who Should Apply

Graduate students (including health care, safety, computer science, engineering, etc), undergraduate students in safety science and health professions, and young professionals who are interested in safety, healthcare innovation, and digital transformation.
