Grants Manager
Alaina Conner is the grants manager at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, where she oversees internal and external grantmaking activities. In her role, she works to identify strategic funding opportunities and focuses on developing and maintaining best practices for effective and equitable grantmaking. Conner began her work with the Foundation as part of the women's health team, overseeing maternal health grantmaking and serving as a member of the WHAMglobal team. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as the program manager for special projects at the Allegheny County Health Department, overseeing community-informed health initiatives such as community health improvement planning and grant-funded initiatives around community health workers. Conner earned a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and a master’s in public policy and management, both from the University of Pittsburgh.
